Join us on Aug. 24 as we tour 3 incredible barns to benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Some of the oldest, most prestigious equestrian clubs and private barns on the East Coast are opening their doors for truly remarkable touring opportunities. Participating are: Double H. Farm, Ox Ridge Riding Club and Old Salem Farm. Four 55-passenger luxury buses will pick up ticket holders in Darien. From there, the barn tour begins. Participants also will enjoy a boxed lunch and groups of four receive a $40 general admission tailgating parking pass to polo matches held Aug. 25 at the Greenwich Polo Club.
Bus tours are: 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2 p.m. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. Each tour lasts about 3 hours.

Locals might be more familiar with the name Ox Ridge Hunt Club. After 104 years, its name has changed to Ox Ridge Riding and Racquet Club. In addition to a new equestrian complex with world-class trainers, there will be a new, 18,000 square-foot clubhouse. Ox Ridge stabling can accommodate 60 horses and includes an indoor heated washroom and several tack rooms. A complete system of fans provides ventilation and comfort throughout the stable. The club is gated and grooms live onsite. In addition to surveillance cameras, Ox Ridge maintains the services of a night watchman to help ensure the utmost care and protection of the horses 24/7. The stables have access to 12 grass turnout areas that are all independent of each other.

Double H Farm is a one-of-a-kind, premier equestrian facility. It features 2 beautiful barns. The main barn has 20 stalls, 4 grooming and wash stalls, and laundry, tack and feed rooms. It also features a large trophy room and lounge, 2 offices and a full kitchen. The second barn — built for the breeding operation — has 14 stalls and 2 grooming and wash stalls. It also has laundry, tack and feed rooms, and an office. Additionally, there are 8 stalls in a shed row.
